So, the highest value can be obtained by the above procedure is nine and the lowest figure can be obtained is zero. A hand having a value of 9 is regarded as the best hand and a hand having a value of zero is regarded as the worst hand.

How the baccarat can be played

Though there are many ways of playing baccarat, the most common way of playing it is, the value of every number card has a value equal to the number assigned to those, all the face cards having a value of zero and the value of the ace card is zero. In the common form of the baccarat, the hand is consisting of two to three cards. The banker deals one card face down to the player and one to himself, and repeats the same procedure again. Then both of them evaluate their card, if the initial hand has a value five or less than five, then they have the chance to draw another card from the lot. Then the betting begins.
